Oxyshred Review

Oxyshred is a fat burning supplement and pre-workout formulation produced in America by EHP labs. The company also produces a number of other health and fitness products, and the official website has a professional look and is easy to navigate. Unfortunately it is somewhat lacking in information about the finer details of how the various products work. The Oxyshred sales page is no exception.

According to the label on the tub, use of the formulation can:

  • Destroy stubborn fat cells
  • Promote hyper-lipolysis
  • Speed up metabolism
  • Boost natural energy
  • Provided immune system support

What is Oxyshred and how does it Work?

Oxyshred is a supplement that is produced in powder form and is mixed with water and consumed as a shake. It is primarily designed to work as a fat burner. If it works in the promised manner; use of the formulation should speed up the metabolism and encourage the body to start burning its stores of fat. When the fat burning process releases calories it can provide a rush of energy which can be used to power increased activity, such as harder workout or aerobic sessions. This explains why EHP labs also market the product as a pre-workout shake.

Key Ingredients & Potential Benefits

The formulation contains several B vitamins that should help support a healthy metabolism, and the Vitamin C content will be useful for boosting the immune system, but all of the main ingredients are incorporated into proprietary blends and no inclusion rates are provided for individual blend constituents.

OxyShred Lypolysis Compound (6,671g) – This appears to be the main fat burning blend. Raspberry ketone stands out as being the ingredient that offers the most potential. It has a good reputation for fat burning and is also known to suppress the appetite. CLA also has merit as a fat burner and should protect against loss of muscle mass, but the lack of inclusion rates makes it impossible to judge if enough is included.

OxyShred Immunity Booster (2,075g) – Vitamin C and L-Glutamine are both known to be capable of boosting the immune system and should also ensure efficient after-training healing.

OxyShred Mood Enhancer (1.25g)  – 1 3 7-trimethylxanthine is just caffeine, so the main befit is stimulation, but taurine and l-tyrosine are both credited with mood enhancing abilities, although further study is required in the case of both ingredients.

OxyShred Full B Vitamin Spectrum – A further dose of B Vitamins that should help support the metabolism and ensure the smooth conversion of food to energy.

Usage Instructions

The shakes are made by mixing 1 scoop (10oz.) of powder with 295ml of water. Two doses are required each day. The first dose should be taken each morning, on an empty stomach. The timing of the second dose is not specified for non-training days, but on training days the second shake should be consumed 15 minutes before training is commenced. The manufacturers state no food or protein shakes should be consumed for a further 20 minutes because the presence of other substances within the stomach may interfere with the absorption process.

Customer Feedback

Customer feedback fails to provide an accurate indication of product potential because good and bad reviews are equally abundant.

Two positive reviews read:

“Totally awesome fat burner. Does everything it says on the tin and there are no nasty side effects.”
“I never expected this would work, but it does and I really love the wild melon flavored version. I lost several pounds in the first week alone and am full of energy every time I hit the gym.”

And two from the other side of the fence.

“Blah! Tastes terrible, smells terrible, and doesn’t do a damn thing for weight loss. Now I know why there is no guarantee.”
“Far be it from me to say the positive reviews must be fake, but I know Oxyshred did not burn any of my fat away. It’s still sitting there around my midsection and annoying the hell out of me every time I stand in front of a mirror. Total pants. Waste of money.”

Side Effects

The sales page on the manufacturer’s website does not mention any side effects, but pregnant or nursing mothers are advised to err on the side of caution and seek a doctor’s approval before commencing supplementation. The same advice is offered to people who are taking medication or have existing health issues.

Where to Buy Oxyshred

Although it is possible to find Oxyshred is some high street stores, finding a supplier can often come down to pot luck so many people may find it simpler to purchase directly from the EHP labs website. Expect to pay around $69.95 for each tub of product, but don’t expect a money back guarantee.

The Bottom Line

The ingredients used in Oxyshred should be more than capable of providing the kind of results the manufacturers promise, but only if they are included in sufficient quantity. The inclusion rates involved here are not specified. Customer feedback also fails to provide an accurate indication of blend potential. The formulation may work, or it may not, but with no money back guarantee, many customers may feel purchasing a supply of Oxyshred is a gamble they do not wish to take.
